The Entomological Foundation is in the process of dissolving and ceasing operations. We are in consultation with various partners to absorb the EF's programs. During this period of uncertainty, funding applications will continue to be accepted, but applicants should be advised that funding is far from guaranteed. Read this Important Update For More Details
Grants for Educators:
The Entomological Foundation exists to develop the next generation of entomologists. Whatever your mission, whatever your vision, whatever your methods — if you want to get kids excited about insects by developing innovative programming in the classroom, we want to hear from you. And help you. The Entomological Foundation supports mini-grants for programs that teach kids about entomology. Click here to learn more about our funding opportunities.
In 2018 we funded 9 grants that include bug camp scholarships, museum exhibits, meal worm breeding kits, and more. Learn about our new projects here and watch our Project Updates pages to keep informed of their progress.
Awards for Entomology Educators:
The Entomological Foundation provides awards for K-12 Science, Technology, Education, and Math (STEM) educators who use insects in the classroom as a method for teaching science, math, art … or any subject really. We simply believe that there is no better biological model for education than arthropods. Click here to learn more about our awards program.
We are closely aligned with the Entomological Society of America, the largest insect science organization in the world. The Foundation is very active at the ESA Annual Meeting. Learn more about who we are and what we do.
